Cream of Wheat Sundaes

Frozen berries (about ½ Cup per person) Cream of Wheat Cans of Whipped Cream

The night before, pour frozen berries into a bowl & sweeten with some sugar. (I use the berry mix that Costco sells but just raspberries are the best!). You can leave the bowl out on the counter & they’ll be perfect by morning. Otherwise if you refrigerate them, they’ll still be frozen or too frosty in the morning.

In the morning, make twice the amount of Cream of Wheat that you might think you need (make it with water & salt, not milk). Make it way thicker than the recipe says. You want it about as thick as mashed potatoes. You can add water if it’s too thick or add more Cream of Wheat if it’s too thin.

Then layer into glasses: 1 spoonful Cream of Wheat, 1 spoonful of berries, 1 squirt of whipped cream. Then do that one more time: Cream of Wheat, berries, whip cream. Pass more cream at the table.

Serve it on a doily. You’ll be amazed how good it is!
